Cookie policy
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, identifiers) work the same way; we call them “cookies” or “trackers” here.
Under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, only trackers strictly necessary for the service you request are set without your consent. All others require your prior consent.
Strictly necessary cookies
They let the site work and cannot be switched off:
- Cart and checkout: remembering your items and the checkout process.
- Security and fraud prevention, in particular during payment.
- Language and country display choice.
- Remembering your consent choice.
These cookies are set by Shopify, which hosts the shop.
Audience measurement and statistics
With your consent, audience-measurement cookies tell us which pages are visited and how you browse, so we can improve the site. They are set by Shopify.
Without your consent, these cookies are not set.
The cookie concerned is _shopify_analytics. Shopify is, to date, the only audience-measurement tool on the site: if we add another, it will be listed here and subject to your consent.
Advertising and social networks
Only with your consent, Shopify sets a marketing-data cookie (_shopify_marketing), which may be used to measure the effectiveness of our posts and campaigns. No advertising pixel (Meta, TikTok, Google) is installed on the site to date.
Links to Instagram, YouTube and TikTok set none until you open them. YouTube videos embedded on the site use enhanced privacy mode and load only after you click, except the ambient video on the home page (“Watch Madame Intentionnelle” block), which loads automatically a few seconds after you arrive on the page, without sound. For this video, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may set or read its own cookies, under its policy, before any click. When we checked on 9 October 2026, no YouTube cookie was set before your consent.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-essential cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting. Your choice is remembered in your browser by Shopify, for 12 months at most, before you are asked again.
You can change it at any time with the “Manage my cookies” link in the footer, then delete existing cookies in your browser settings.
The banner and the “Manage my cookies” link rely on Shopify's customer privacy feature.
Lifespan
Cookies have a limited lifespan, at most 13 months. Audience-measurement data is kept for 25 months at most.
Cookies observed on the shop on 9 October 2026. Purposes and durations follow Shopify's official list (shopify.com/legal/cookies, version of 8 October 2026):

All these cookies are set by Shopify. Brevo (newsletter) sets none on the site. At the payment step, Shopify's page and payment methods such as PayPal may set their own cookies, under their own policies.
Personal data
Trackers may process personal data (IP address, identifier). Your rights over this data and how to exercise them are in the privacy policy.
Updates
We update this policy when we add a tool or service. The online version is the one in force.
Last update: 9 October 2026.
